Jimmy John’s goes international, opening quickly in Canada and Latin America, in line with a press launch from the chain’s mother or father firm, Encourage Manufacturers.
“For 40 years, Jimmy John’s has taken a simple method to creating ridiculously good, high quality sandwiches and it is now time to share them with the world,” Michael Haley, Encourage’s president and managing director, mentioned in a press launch. “In a world restaurant setting the place simplicity is paramount, we’re assured this model is primed for intensive worldwide development.”
Foodtastic, a franchisor of over 1,1000 eating places in Canada, will lead the Canadian growth. El Salvador-based Franquicias Internacionales, which owns a number of companies throughout meals and beverage, digital media and logistics, will oversee the Latin American development.
Jimmy John’s has over 2,700 areas.
